Returns the value of the error state indicator (ESI) field for the selected frame.

Parameters:

  • bus – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr1 (settable in the interface ‘Bus’)

  • busFrameNull – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr0 (settable in the interface ‘Frame’)

  • fdata – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Ix1 (settable in the interface ‘Fdata’)

Returns:

fd_esi: 0 to 1
