Returns the status of the field with the selected field number within the frame with the selected frame number (for the selected serial bus) .

Parameters:

  • bus – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr1 (settable in the interface ‘Bus’)

  • busFrameNull – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr0 (settable in the interface ‘Frame’)

  • busFieldNull – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr0 (settable in the interface ‘Fld’)

Returns:

field_state: OK | UNKNown | INComplete | PREamble | SOP | CRC | LENGth | FBFB

  • SOP: Start of packet warning

  • CRC: Cyclic redundancy check error

  • FBFB: 4b5b error
