Returns the overall state of the frame.

Parameters:

  • bus – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr1 (settable in the interface ‘Bus’)

  • busFrameNull – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr0 (settable in the interface ‘Frame’)

Returns:

state: OK | PARity | LENGth | AMBiguous | INComplete

  • OK: The frame is valid.

  • PARity: Parity error

  • LENGth: Length error

  • INComplete: The frame is incomplete
