Returns the identifier type of the selected frame.

Parameters:

  • bus – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr1 (settable in the interface ‘Bus’)

  • busFrameNull – optional repeated capability selector. Default value: Nr0 (settable in the interface ‘Frame’)

Returns:

identifier_type: B4: standard format, 4 bit B8: extended format, 8 bit
